PAsshole drivers

Today's PAsshole is the IDIOT driving a white Ford pickup truck in the Walmart parking lot off Millcreek Road in Lower Macungie Township who not only didn't yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk, but who then blew his horn at the pedestrian and flipped him off when the pedestrian dared to question his lawbreaking, first by shaking his head then, after the PAsshole turned the corner and blew his horn, by raising his arms in a questioning manner!

Unfortunately, no license plate is available, so the only hope is that this PAsshole reads this blog - assuming he even CAN read! But, being the "big man" he is - sitting in the safety of his over-sized vehicle with his little buddy at his side when he's nearly running over people walking innocently and legally where they have a right to walk - it's doubtful this white-haired skinny guy with the butch haircut and wire-rimmed glasses gives enough of a sh!t about anyone other than himself to even care how his lawbreaking affects others!

But, just in case this PAsshole DOES know how to read, here's how the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code defines a crosswalk and what a driver is required to do:

That part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connections of the
lateral lines of the sidewalks on opposite sides of the highway, measured from the curbs or, in the
absence of curbs, from the edges of the traversable roadway; and, in the absence of a sidewalk on
one side of the roadway, that part of a roadway included within the extension of the lateral lines
of the existing sidewalk.

When traffic-control signals are not in place or not in operation, the driver
of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian crossing the roadway...within any unmarked crosswalk at an intersection.
